Founded in March of 2012 Buckeye BBC is a local consulting firm in Columbus, OH.  Since opening, we have expanded across the state and taken on two new clients! What’s next for Buckeye BBC?  We are taking our expertise across the country! And the ultimate goal? Global Domination of the consulting world!

Management Team


Rick Knutsen – President

Born and raised in Martins Ferry, Ohio, Rick moved to West Virginia to attend college at West Liberty University where he pursued a degree in Business Administration & Computer Science. After an accomplished career in retail management, Rick became involved with direct sales and marketing in April 2010. He began as an account representative and with his great work ethic was promoted to management in just over a year. Prior to opening Buckeye Better Business Consulting in March 2012, Rick played a pivotal role in driving quality results for multiple corporate accounts across the Midwest and developing innovative sales professionals.

Rick attributes his own success as well as the success of his company to the desire to achieve and winning mindsets of the representatives working alongside him. Their ambition and drive continues to motivate him every day and has created an enthusiastic environment that is second to none.


Jeffrey Crawford – Manager

Jeffrey is originally from Montana and moved to Ohio in 2006. After high school graduation, Jeffrey enlisted in the Army.  He graduated from Bowling Green State University with a political science degree. While at BGSU, Jeffrey was very involved with his fraternity Phi Delta Theta serving as Vice President. Right before his senior year, he was deployed to Qatar and finished school upon his return. He started his career with Buckeye Better Business Consulting in May of 2014 and earned his promotion to assistant management in August of 2015.

His excellent resilience and adaptability from his military training increased his success with Buckeye Better Business Consulting.  He expanded the company and opened a new location in September of 2016.  His future plans are to continue to grow the business, add new clients and new locations across the country.


BuckeyeBBC Brad

Bradley Hashim – Assistant Manager

Bradley is originally from Toledo, OH.  He graduated from Bowling Green State University with a criminal justice degree. While at BGSU, Brad was very involved with the Dance Marathon and philanthropic events on campus.  He started his career with Buckeye Better Business Consulting in May of 2015 and earned his promotion to assistant management in August of 2016.  His excellent work ethic and creativity from his background in soccer and dance only enhanced his success with Buckeye Better Business Consulting.  His future plans are to continue to grow into a management position, develop great communication skills for a future career, which will only be enhanced by the experience and growth at Buckeye Better Business Consulting and we look forward to seeing his next move!

Erika Fuge – Office Manager

Born and Raised in northwest Ohio, Erika was brought up in a rural area participating in 4-H, volleyball, and softball.  She attended The Ohio State University majoring in Materials Science and Engineering and worked part time at Macy’s department store all through school.  Looking for something where she would work more closely with people Erika started BuckeyeBBC in March 2012 and has helped the company grow and expand from the beginning.  Communication and leadership skills from her team-oriented background have helped her reach her goals and earn promotions quickly.  Her future plans are to continue to grow the BuckeyeBBC family adding two additional locations this year, setting them up for success and hiring and training new HR, and administration staff.
